The flat is spacious, tastefully decorated, and felt new and modern. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The kitchen is large and well-equipped for cooking in. Great bathroom too. The location is perfect - within walking distance to cafes and pubs as well as some amazing hiking right from the doorstep in a beautiful part of the UK. I would stay here again and can definitely recommend High Wythow to others.

The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. Loved the location - 3 pubs that do food and shops for groceries only a minute walk away and only a short walk down to the lake shore. We particularly liked having the space of self catering but having breakfast included at the B and B owned by the same owner , Frances. The breakfast was well cooked, presented well and very hot.

Central location but peaceful and relaxing. Near all amenities but countryside all around Apartment was really comfortable,exceptionally clean and warm and very well furnished. Great WiFi connection. Loved that it’s so near the excellent Meadowdore Cafe whose owners also own the apartment..so easy to pop in for excellent food

Location is just perfect, you have all amenities around the corner. Various walks can be started from the doorstep. or you can drive to so many other little villages (20-30mins radius, Ambleside/Windermere/Grasmere/Keswick to name a few) and the options are endless Walking distance to Coniston Lake Facilities inside the flat are great. All other reviews you will read will mention the showerhead being great and it is true.

Great views through the skylight windows, even better at night for Stargazing. Appartment really nice in a central location of Coniston and car parking on the road opposite so we'd definitely recommend staying here.
